Have you ever felt an instant connection with a stranger you have seen for the very first time? And did you get the urge to talk to that person even if you don’t know them at all?
I was travelling in a local bus at Montreal and I suddenly saw her entering the bus with her quiet dignity. The bus seemed to be engulfed with her seemingly royal personality and I couldn’t stop staring at her in my own discreet way.
And when we happened to get down at the same bustop I just had to tell her how inspired I was with her looks and her persona. Surprisingly she felt the same about me!
We began with the usual small talk, yet when she said she was working on a peace centre project, I was more curious on the subject.
We decided to spend time at a quaint local corner coffee shop surrounded by cute goldfishes around our table.
It was one of the most uplifting conversations that I had in my life. She was 71 years old young and a fun person to be with. We even made funny gestures with each other in the Cafe Santropole to get even more smiles from our next table inmates.
I had no idea how time flew in her company and we just happened to be the last ones to leave the place. What an unexpected wonderful end to the evening!
Montreal – a place to interact with random interesting people…An evening well spent with smiles talking about humanity level peace matters with a stranger at a coffee shop!
