CODEC Asia Consumer Durable Conclave concludes successfully on Day 2 with Sustainable Environment Discussion.

At the first CODEC Asia 2018 Consumer Durables Convention, the topics of Day 2 addressed this important aspect of sustainable environment.Over the years, it is a very encouraging sign to see the Corporate Sector become responsive to their impact on the environment.

Mr. Muqbil Ahmar raised a thought provoking awareness initiative on the issue of the discarded electronic items that is generated from every household or office.

Mr Rishi Agarwal spoke about the fantastic concept of a waste bank where one use silver coated wrappers can be collected at a school and college branch and then could be directed to cement industries to be used as part of their fuel requirements.

Ms. Savita Rao enlightened us on the possibility of creating mini urban forests that can give precious oxygen with the polluted city areas.

Mr. Sharada Sutra spoke about the indoor air quality issue in the hospitality industry.

Dr. Kannan spoke about the change needed from Human pollution to human evolution.

Ms. Shobha G Rao gave inputs on the importance to shift from an indifferent attitude to having a responsible attitude, so that constructive action can then be taken in our own areas for our immediate environment.
