Coordinating the collection of funds to help the education of 2 underprivileged girl children for life!
In the last few weeks it was a single minded focus to collect funds for a good cause. Though we initially thought that we could raise only a minimal amount, the sheer faith in the goodness of humanity and the single minded perseverance for a cause, helped in raising four times the amount that we thought we could. This meant a lot of what’s app follow ups, phone calls, weekly reports, cross verification of amounts, answering of critics and sceptics, and a huge sense of responsibility when handling other people’s precious money.
As we gave the fund cheques to our day school and night school principals, the smile of satisfaction is to be experienced and cannot be written about.
So in 2018, do notice these simple smiling moments.Have a smiling year!
