In 1998, Shobha had a column in the prestigious Bombay Times newspaper called ‘ Ordinary People’ that focused on the extra ordinary inner spirit that keeps people smiling in spite of their challenging circumstances. Later she wrote many articles for the Bangalore Times newspaper too.

In 2011 based on the numerous motivating insights from interviewing hundreds of common people, Shobha wrote and dedicated a book to her parents called ‘From Ordinary to Extra-Ordinary’.
In 2020 her book highlighting the true life mentorship experiences of her husband with his mentees, called ‘Journey of a Corporate Mentor’ became an international bestseller on Amazon.
